THIS ONE'S FOR YOU

One of the most difficult decisions we as a family had to make was to put our wonderful Yellow Lab to rest.
Sam "Sambo" Bass was such a good doggy, a great friend, funny, cuddly, warm, so sweet, gentile, and just so much more.

On Friday June 27th, Sambo went to doggy heaven. My whole family was deeply heartbroken. A lot of questions; "Why Sam had to get sick, why does this kind of thing happen?" followed.

I give a lot of respect and credit to my dear husband who has been so gentile, and understanding with our boy who's been taking it pretty hard. Faithfully answering questions the kids bring to us. Bill (my hubby) decided to have the whole family sleep in the living room that way Christian (our son) didn't have to sleep alone, see sambo was his roomie. Pretty sweet right?

In March when we found out our doggy of 8 years was sick I purchased a book called "Good Bye My Friend" by Devon O' Day. This book has tender sayings about pets, and how loved and happy they are. It came in handy this morning when My husband and I awoke to our son reading this to our daughters.

"You wouldn't believe how much fun this place is!!
There is always a chew toy
There is always a fireplace waiting after a full day of play
  I hear your tears
If only you knew where your heart has allowed me to go
  You would never cry again"

It was very special to see them bonding and sharing each others pain, but most importantly healing together.
I'm thankful that God allowed us such an awesome family pet.

This one's for you Sambo.. "Momma's baby"
You are so loved and deeply missed.
Forever in our Hearts.

God Bless Family.
