LIGHTS

When I was a young girl my cousin Tina and I would sleep over my Grandpa Avila's house. He was always doing work on anything and everything. He loved to shop at Menards. He would take my cousin and me along & we would run around upstairs, and have a great time exploring all there was in the store.

My most favorite part of the store was the section with all the beautiful lights, and chandeliers. All placed perfectly, in the exact spot that made them wonderful to look at.
Every single time we went there I went straight to the lights. They were so beautiful and bright, and my cousin and I would gaze at them, and imagine which ones we would have in our homes.

Yesterday My husband needed to purchase something at Menards, so off we went. I walked in and just looked at the lights. I smiled, I was reminded of my Grandpa, and running around as a little girl. I was also reminded how beautiful those lights were...So Bright!

That's when it hit me. *No Not The Lights :)* A Revelation.

Why had I always gravitated to the lights every time I came here?
It was because it was the brightest spot in the store, because all the lights were unique in their own way, but so beautiful.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven"Matthew 5:16

We are called to be the light for those who are lost. Our actions, and how we treat people is a direct reflection of the Light that the Lord has put in us. Just like when I was a little girl I gravitated to the lights. So will other people gravitate to the light inside you.

Remember: you have a BRIGHT, BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE light inside of you that the Lord uses for his Glory. People will be drawn to it. You are placed perfectly and exactly where The Heavenly Father wants you to be.
“No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light"Luke 8:16

There was a quote that I loved by Francis Assisi
"Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary use words."

God Bless Family ~
