PRINCESSES

My daughters attended their final "Father Daughter Dance" this year at school with their daddy. I cannot tell you how long they've waited for this day! It's like a Prom for baby girls at their school. They get to dress up like princesses and have their daddy dance them around and eat cupcakes! They get to enjoy the laughter and love that comes with it! I'm so thankful to God for such a special time like this. The twinzos will learn what it means to be treated like the princess they are. So I walk in the gym to pick up Bill and the girls, and They are playing the Sara Bareilles song 'Brave', It was a sea of princesses with their daddy's, uncles, grandfathers...just singing this song as loud as they could with all their hearts! I began to tear up in awe at what I was seeing! I asked myself, "Did these daddy's, uncle's, grandfathers, know how much this means to these baby girls?!" I thought of how long this night would last in their memory. As I looked on, the princesses wearing ball gowns, and shiny jewelry, and flowers in their hair. I was very grateful in that moment for those entire Male figures who were there to make those babies feel like the princesses God created them to be. I hoped that those girls; some who are now fifth graders, will remember how special that night was, and when they grow older, look back and remember they are princesses! I am fully aware there are some princesses who do not have an earthly daddy in the picture: perhaps by choice or by other circumstances. Don't let this hinder your children, they have a Heavenly Father who would give his life for you and them...actually he did. Our Heavenly Father can take the place, fill the void & absence you or your children's heart may feel. He can fill yours & your children's lives & heart to overflowing. Just call out to him...
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty" 2 Corinthians 6:18
Thank you Abba Father!
Shalom.
