SHIELD

My favorite superhero, hands down, without a doubt is Captain America. I love his values, and how he thinks morally. Cap's  primary weapon of choice is a shield. The components of this shield is made of the unique alloy of "Vibranuim Steel" and an unknown variable. The shield is virtually indestructible! He uses it as an offensive and defensive weapon! It's quite remarkable the tricks he can do with it to fight off all of his attackers. 

While studying the book of Psalms, I've found a word that keeps repeating itself over and over! 

Shield- (verb) Protect (someone or something) from a danger, risk, or unpleasant experience. 

It says in Palms, 3:5a, "But You, O LORD, are a shield for me. Psalm 5:12b, With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 91:4b His truth shall be your Shield and buckler. 

Full disclosure,  I sometimes forget the importance of remembering that GOD is constantly protecting me. He is my Indestructible Cover, my protector, my safeguard, my defender, my offense, and my defense!! 

During the season when life gets tough, and even in the seasons where everything is going well, He, was, is, and always will be my Shield.

Lord I pray for those reading this, that you remind them always, that you have their best interest at heart. You are the Author and Finisher, the Creator, the Master, and you know your children well. Let us remember to call out to you in all seasons of life. You are, I AM. Thank you for your never ending protection, something we can count on always, In Jesus Name.
