TRUTH IS

How can I look in your eyes and see the uncertainty
How can I give you the right answer when I want to know the same thing
You look to me for a peace that I know I can't give
You wonder why people hate when that's not how The Creator intended them to live
Your eyes take in all that's portrayed in the news
Wondering what it's like to be in their shoes
I can see your heart is hurting though you don't say a thing
Truth is I feel the same way
How could anyone have so much hate in their heart
For color or religion and so much more
We are called to be set apart
As believers in Christ this we should know
This is truly a spiritual battle not of flesh and blood
I Know you're wondering if you could do anything to change the world today
If you could you would
I look into your eyes and tell you we must pray
I do my best to reassure you that God is in control in every single way
That nothing is a surprise to him whether big or small 
God has his hand on it all
Cling to him when things look hopeless and grim
For we have read the book of  revelation and we know how it ends.
