ROPE

I had a dream a while ago, that a HUGE tsunami like wave was coming. I could literally see it coming toward thousands of people! Not many were ready for that wave. Lots of people caught off guard, just playing around, not really noticing the signs. I knew my children were safe. (In dreams like these my kids are hardly ever with me, nor my husband, but I know they are safe.) I quickly grabbed 2 younger children and held them tightly as I gripped a rope fence, I knew the impact was coming and I could hear people screaming, frightened. If I could save just those two children, then at least I helped in someway. I was scared also, but I braced myself for what I knew was coming, and held on. I felt sad for those who didn't recognized the danger. After the water receded... there were a lot of survivors, and a lot of questions.

What a significant dream, It's so easy to get bogged down with all that is wrong with the world. But I pray that I can always keep my focus on the one who created my inmost being, so that I might be prepared. That JESUS will be the rope I always cling to during all seasons of my life!

 But Concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say. “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of day, we are not of the night nor of darkness
