REACHING GOALS
This past Friday, my husband, son, twin daughters and I, had the privilege to watch the WNBA championship game live at the UIC in Chicago Ill. My husbands sister, plays forward for the Phoenix Mercury.
Mistie Bass has played for the WNBA for over 8 years. She's played for amazing teams such as the Comets, Sky, Suns, and most recently the Phoenix Mercury. With hard work and dedication, the team made it to the Championship Game!
Playing against the amazing Chicago Sky; The Mercury team was up 2 games out of 5, and their dream of chasing glory and getting a 3rd Championship became a reality on Friday night as they went on to beat the Sky 87-82! Just a shout out the the Phoenix Team, Coaching staff, and all the fans!
It was a true blessing to be able to see my children, look on as their Aunt, finally reached the goal she's worked so hard for! She has used her platform to share her love for God, not only dedicating herself to the game, staying fit, becoming a spokesperson for "Girl Up", but also sharing positive, inspiring blogs, pictures, and post.
