HOPE
As the day approaches, I get more and more anxious. I find that my heart is getting that deep aching feeling again. I've teared up at memories and pictures. There is really no set time frame for healing when you lose a loved one, you just get used to the absence, even if it leaves a deep void in your heart.
Today I noticed more than ever how the brokenhearted aching feeling was becoming stronger as we grew closer to day we lost you. Today I heard a Christian Rapper who just lost his father thanking his fans for the outpouring of love, prayers and support. While he was still very heartbroken, he said something that really spoke to me.
He paraphrased 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14
Let our hearts not mourn like those with no hope.
